Alchemy Metals Lab was forged out of the idea of embracing the tradition of the Artist-Craftsman through workshops for instruction and study in the multiple disciplines employed by this genre of maker. The foundation of his work is rooted in the Blacksmith's art, as it is from there that he is then able to effectively meld other arts and crafts together and become a merited maker. Traditionally, the primary materials of the Artist-Craftsman were wood and metal, and same can be said of today's makers. The exception would be with many utilizing glass in several forms and methods of working with, typically heated. In consequence, Alchemy Metals Lab classes will focus on instruction and experimenting with metal, wood, and glass.
